Another business field of MAINTOOLS TSK machinery is the production of winding pipe systems for large plastic pipes. With diameters ranging from 300 mm to 4300 mm, these systems are used in project-specific applications for sewage, sewer, and drainage pipes, storage space and double wall systems, shafts, silos, chemical containers, and water tanks. The wound pipes comply with international standards DIN 16961, ASTM F-894, and EN 13476, in stiffness classes up to SN 16 according to DIN EN ISO 9969. Two systems with outer diameters of up to 2,400 mm and 4,300 mm allow for flexible production. High product flexibility in profile design with low tooling costs is the advantage of winding tube technology over large corrugators. In addition, pure smooth tubes can also be produced for the manufacture of shafts and fittings. Sockets are created as required via a milling station.
Equipped with a 2-layer head, the MTWR 2400 pipe winding system can be used to manufacture pipes with a diameter range of 300 – 2400 ID with inner and outer layers in different colors. This is important for future camera inspections of the pipes. The latest burner technology is energy-efficient and ensures low production costs.
The third extruder is used to coat the support pipe.
Identical in design to the MTWR2400 coil pipe system, the MTWR4300 can produce pipes with an ID diameter range of 800–4300 mm. The burner alignment is specially designed for large pipes with an ID of up to 4300 mm.
